Combat ID (CID) - Identify Friend/Foe (IFF)

Diffraction LTD manufactures optical beacons used to identify friendly forces on the battlefield. In addition to generating a powerful signal in U.S. and allied night vision and targeting systems, Diffraction beacons can optically broadcast data such as ID and status codes and GPS coordinates. Diffraction LTD's digital night vision devices can automatically detect our combat ID beacons, uniquely identify them, and actively track them.
